This model is not waterproof. Scroll down to the first review and notice the user says they like the "water resistant" material. So, the pack is water resistant but NOT waterproof. If you want to have a waterproof pack, you'll either need to spend a lot more dough and get a technical daypack - or spend a little bit more and get a properly sized pack cover to slip on when the weather becomes rainy.
