I just ordered my pair of salomon dumonts 176 and I was wondering if they are good on rails and if they are light or heavy

Hi RossFr23, Sorry for the late reply but you have made a great choice. The ski will be more bomb prof than most skis out there because ot the edge armor. I suggest mounting your binding on the forward line for park. This will make the ski lighter, easy to jump on and off rails. Lighter bindings will help reduce weight, like a Salomon STH 12 bindings.

Awesome on rails. Check out the Poorboyz flick to see 'em in action. Nice and light in a 176cm. You're stoked.
