Hi there,
I just got these delivered today and I can't decide whether to keep them. My dilemma lies in the heel area; my feet are narrow and the heel does go up and down a bit when I walk around my house. I like the look and the overall feel, they seem comfy... but is the heel movement a big problem? I don't have much experience with serious hiking shoes... I am a moderate weekend hiker, 8 to 10 miles once a week so this is my first "froofy" pair as I just killed my running shoes and need to replace/upgrade ;) Is the heel thing a deal breaker in the long run? Any feedback welcome.

Since the sole is stiff when they are new, give it a few hikes and as the sole flexes they will feel much better and some of the slippage will go away. I love mine. It took a while to break them in, but now I never want to take them off.

Are you wearing them with the socks you plan to wear them with when hiking? If not, see how they fit when you do. If so, or if you still have the lifting in the heel then, you'll get raw spots and blisters, and you should either go down in size or choose another type.
