Hi, does anyone have experience with (heavy) rain and triple c? I have to be on my bicycle at least one hour a day, regardless the weather, and I'm always cold, so I would really like to buy the warmest coat there is, but is has to stand the rain. Judith

Hi Judith the Triple C is definitely not the best choice if you are going to spend time in the rain. For just a rain shell check out the stella grace jacket, for a rain jacket with some insulation take a look at the insulated grace jacket and for the ultimate in warmth and protection in a casual jacket the brooklyn jacket is the way to go. Hope that helps!

Hi, I'm also a customer looking at these coats and I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but thought I'd also mention the Patagonia Downtown women's long coat. It is also mid-calf length and advertises as 800 fill down, thus warmer than the North Face Triple C, although also much more $$... You might want to call the customer service of both companies to inquire how they'd each hold up in the rain. Best wishes!
