Quick question: how good are these shoes for narrow heels? I tried them on at the store and there was a bit of space in the heel, but I could probably go another half size down and be okay... any thoughts? Ps: also, there was some loose space around my ankle at the top of the shoe even when it was fastened tight, is that normal?

I got these shoes in April of 2010 and love them. My feet are a little on the narrow to average side and I find that the heel actually rides up a little bit too snugly around the top of my achilles for my liking. Interestingly there's a bit of extra room in the heel pocket itself though! They're a great fit for performance but, like most good performance shoes, they're too tight to be worn for a long day. Love the shoe though and would buy another pair if they were on sale. Looks like resoling for now!
