Does anyone know how many ounces of 800-fill down are incorporated in this jacket? Would the fill compare more to Patagonia's down sweater or more like an expedition weight fill?? Thanks!

Ben. Yes... sorry for the confusion I meant GRAMS! Not Ounces. Sorry! 100oz. would be over 6.2 pounds of down. That's A LOT of down. Hilarious. 100grams would be about .22 pounds and that sounds about right. Thanks!

Jon- Thanks for the info. I'm also seriously considering this jacket & need something for the freezing Wisconsin winters but am a little confused. Your comments said it has 137 oz, did you mean to say grams? I'm finding other jackets that have in the 6-12 oz range, not in the 100-300 oz range. Thanks for your time!

Chris. 100oz. of 800+-fill down is used in the Synchronicity Jacket which I would call a "mid-weight" down jacket. For comparison, the Phantom Jacket uses 137oz. and the Sub Zero SL Jacket uses a little over 300oz. of 650+-fill down which for the record is a little heavier for a given volume than 800+-fill but just as warm. I do not know how many ounces are used in Patagonia's Jacket but I would imagine it is far less than 100oz. Furthermore, I have skied in the Synchronicity Jacket the last two seasons on area and it has been perfect for this use even on the coldest days... especially when coupled with a PowerStretch mid-layer.
