Does the current version of this jacket have pit zips? The Gore-Tex website claims that it does, but the poster below seems to indicate that his jacket lacks them. Perhaps a difference in model years?

It is a difference in model years, Aldo. I have a Beta SL from 2006 and it has pit zips (it also has heavier material on the shoulders and down the arms). The new version does not have either.

The Arc'teryx Beta SL does not have pit zips. The Alpha SL (GoreTex Paclite) does have them, and the GoreTex ProShell, Beta AR also has pit zips.
