i agree with t lamp. very versatile and suitable for just about everything. doesn't have that stiff nylon noise common among jackets in the 80s. definitely an athletic fit -good for tall lean people.

This jacket is seriously good for whatever you want to do(excursions, long Bpack trips, or just chillin.) It makes almost no noise and looks great. The fit is SOMEWHAT slim/athletic so if you're a unusually big person I might recommend an alternative. I haven't met anyone who doesn't think this jacket is sweet. These things keep you warm(even when they're wet), pack down small and have nice cuffs that fit snug around your wrist.
