I am considering the Nepal's or the Baruntse for Anconcagua this coming January. I normally climb vertical ice in Canada and have been wanting to the the Nepal's but I am thinking I should get the Baruntse for the extra warmth. So, does the Baruntse climb as well as the Nepal and is it warmer? I have been told that I may have trouble even getting on the mountain with a boot that isn't a plastic or has a liner, like there is some kind of boot police at the base.

I would go with the baruntse because they are warmer, why take a chance when you could save losing toes?
