Is this the old EQ or the new Membrane? Is the zipper the same as on the Pinnacle? Also, is there a bottom-up zipper (can't tell from the photo).

I had a chat with a marmot rep and was basically told that the new membrane is the same as the old EQ fabric. They just had to change the name of the fabric. The pretex shell is lighter than the membrane though. Which I actually prefer

This is the new Membrain version and yes it has a full length double slider zipper like the Pinnacle.
