I've used a friends X-15's before and liked the heft and the ease in which one could place them because of that. The newer tools seem to be lighter so I have to ask if there are any axes (including this one) out there in this price range that have more weight at the pick/head instead of evenly distributed across the axe. It seems to me a lighter axe without more weight at the pick/head would require more effort to place securely.
