is it possible to get this smaller than 10 x 19 or should i think about going with a down bag for Yukon winter trip.

I personally prefer down, and it'll definitely pack down smaller than a synthetic, but to answer your question: use a compression sack and you should be able to get the stuffed size down to probably somewhere around 8x12-14-ish. I do also have to say though- for a winter trip to the Yukon, I would be seriously thinking about bringing a -40 down bag.
