Hi guys,i realy want a Alpha jacket,the thing is i live in Spain(north) and i dont do much(none) montain expedition so i dont know if the SV will be good for urban wind-rain wear or i should get the LT.Im more into the SV becouse for +100$ i will get more durable long lasting shell for the harsh whether in Basque country. thanks in advance

enrique, the only issue is that the alpha sv could prove to be too high end for u in pain.

Out of the two, the LT definitely would suit you better. Although the SV is absurdly durably, it is rather stiff and crinkly, much more so than the Alpha LT. But honestly, I think you should get an Alpha or Beta SL. Both will be lighter, and just as waterproof, but far less expensive. Both are perfect, high end, rain wear

Hi, Both are great jackets, and while the Alpha LT might be a lighter jacket, it's definitely also a high end product that you'll find much more appropriate for the conditions it sounds like you anticipate needing it for. Hope that helps.
