Vasque is a good choice, so you're starting in the right place. They've never made trail running shoes as good as this years offering before, and they have been making footwear for eons, But they really re-vamped that category and people have taken notice. This is a 'B' (medium) width and Vasque typically runs larger and generally true to size. This model would be an exception however, and while still remaining true to size, it has an overall, smaller footprint. The toe box is roomy but if you tend to swell a ton in your toes and forefoot area, you may want to buy a 1/2 size up. Never go full size up, no matter what anybody says. I've tried the men's version of these on and they're light (about 12.0 oz each, women's are probably around 11 and some change). This is seriously a good choice, I wouldn't want to make it more convoluted by suggesting something else, you'll be stoked on these.
