On the front of the jacket the words "The North Face" seem higher up compared to the jacket on thenorthface.com. Why are the words higher up?

Simple enough. This is last year's model, and the logo was placed above the pocket. On this year's, the logo is on the pocket. Probably not a concern that's worth an extra $80 for what amounts to essentially the same jacket.
