Around and xl would be perfect if it fit him length wise in the arms.

you're a good girlfriend. i have this jacket and am 6'1" 183lbs. i wear it in a medium. i think an XL should be plenty big as the jacket runs a little large in my opinion.

My brother is 6'2 180lbs and he wears a large....Your boyfriend fits in the range of an XL....
