What would be better suited for the chilly Michigan winters, This or the Nuptse Jacket? Similarly, is this warm enough for the aforementioned conditions?

This jacket is FAR less puffy than the nuptse and won't get wet while dry, but the down fill of the nuptse is a bit warmer. Don''t get me wrong, I have worn the Redpoint Optimus in Single degree weather (with a light fleece underneath). The insulated hood on the Optimus is superior than the Nuptse. The Redpoint can be worn in a FAR wider range of temperatures thoughYes, get the optimus!! It's sooo warm without weight or bulk.
