Will this pack fit my macbook ok? i need to use it everyday - as well as up the hill..
the pack needs to be somewhere around 13 inches wide and 10 inches deep.

yeah, it fits. i wouldn't strap the computer to the outside though. that's too creative. although, if you open the laptop, close the Velcro strap over the keyboard and fold it closed again, i bet it would fit!

this bag holds 976cu in (16L) the apple backpack for a macbook pro 15" is 0.42 cu. ft./12 l .. just not sure if it's wide enough.
