Can you shampoo and rinse hair with this? If there's not enough water coming out at once, it seems it wouldn't rinse hair very well.

You definitely are able to shampoo and rinse with this but it isn't great. The hose is a bit too long so you have to roll it up a little bit to be able to stand under it without crouching down real far. When you do that though you lose some water pressure. If you are able to though, you can raise it further off the ground to reduce the need to coil the hose. I think that it rinses hair as good as can be from a camp shower. It is certainly the best one I've ever used.
