I've been looking for an aluminum bottle which would be relatively impervius to a 1.5 day forgetting. With liquids still in it. Plastic can just have mold *quick." This bottle is lined with epoxy phenolic -- whatever that is :)~ . So, is the container any better than a plastic one?

Not really, I mean it says that it is mold resistant but so does a Nalgene. I would check out the Kleen Kanteen if I was you, since they are unlined food grade stainless steel.
