Hi, from the picture seen from the right side, it looks like the backpack has a side opening or a pocket (you can see the usual zip puller from mammut). However, on their website they do not mention any side pocket or opening. Does somebody have it and can confirm it is a pocket?

Raoul, see pics above (side zip) and also read reviews from backpacker.com - Mammut makes excellent packs. It's worth paying slightly more for their innovative designs and durability.

I just looked at this pack in the store. The zipper you refer to is kind of strange. It's access to main compartment only - not a pocket.

The side zip is excellent for accessing the contents of the inside of the pack especially to get at something at the bottom quickly.
