Hey I'm looking at getting the volkl Bridge's, I'm 6', but I only weigh 130lbs.... I am an advanced skier, I like to ski fast, all over the mountain. I was wondering if 169's would be a good length for me or not? I'm worried they would be unstable/ squirmy, or unable to hold an edge well at such a short length, but since I'm really light it might work? oh yeah, and would you suggest these ski's for someone who ski's east coast conditions as a one ski quiver? I ski all mtn (not a park rat) but I venture into the park on occasion, and want a twin tip.

For stability alone I always recommend the longer length you can get away with. So the 177 seems like it will fit you better. You ski fast, which on a shorter ski means you get squirrelly, so the length adds weight to your rig that keeps it smooth. Your weight is a factor, but as an advanced skier, you should be able to figure out how to stay aggressive on top of something that length and keep it under your control. The Bridge is a good ski for an all mountain twin.
