will this rack work on my jeep liberty rack/rail system? The two cross bars are Jeep manufactured and I am not sure if the Thule system will attach to the existing rails?

Adam, Most Thule bike racks seem to be compatible with factory racks with this converter kit: http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/Thule-Ride-On-Adapter/THU0100M.html But I would check out the Thule Rack Configurator at the top of the page to see if it will work with your Jeep's rack and if it would need the conversion kit for sure.
