Hi guy's,
I'm considering buying a Sentry, Stinger or Sidewinder SV jacket. Ski about half time in Australia where it can be wet and half time North America, mainly Whistler. Keen to get a top quality jacket. Haven't actually seen a Sentry other than on web. So haven't been able to confirm my size.

I'm a bit overweight and chest 118, waist 112, hips 105, sleeve (centre neck to wrist) 87 cm.

Any advice greatly appreciated

Basically, the Sentry IS a Stinger with insulation. One great feature of these jackets is the colar cynch, which allows for a close fit around the throat without having to use the hood. Also, the wrist cuffs are easier to work with bulky gloves

I gotta lean toward the Stinger for you, McTavish. Reasons: no insulation, but super waterproof- great for Whistler or Oz where it can be wet and warm, but if it's bitter cold, the Stinger can be warmed up with some under layers, and the extra layering room can accomodate some portliness. Plus it's super tough, and has a nice tall collar for tucking in when it's dumping.
