Um, this product is meant to protect your gear from damaging UV solar rays. So I dunno why you'd be applying it to your tent floor. If you're looking for something to help seal your tent floor, check for tent floor sealant.

It will work, Nylon is Nylon afterall. If it is a large tent and you expect heavy foot traffic with shoes on, you will see it wear down. If you apply this stuff really thick, you will also notice it will be tacky to the touch, so just be careful of that. Not entirely sure what your situation is, but you may not NEED to do this. Does your tent have a footprint? A footprint will cut the condensation down in you tent dramatically. My situation in niner-niner-zero, there's a Plain wrapper sitting at the 57 taking pictures and he's not squaking.
