This is a great all around rope! It would work well for both trad and sport as its a nice blend of durability and light weight. You certainly could top rope on it, however, if that is your primary intent, I would look for something slightly thicker as it will hold up longer. Great rope, and the different weave patterns are incredibly handy to have!
