While this can be attached to most factory racks and even some that are horizontal this is not one of Thule's options for the Honda Element. By visiting www.thuleracks.com you can use there rack your car feature and have all the options for your factory rack. For cargo bags I am showing that you will want to look for the 630 Thule Ranger 90, 846 Quest (Item #THU0044), 857 CARAVAN, and the 867 TAHOE.
