Awesome helmet for sure! I personally prefer the standard Smith Variant because its easier to put your goggles up w/out the brim getting in the way.

Hey Jack, This is a great option for patrol. The flat black definitely fits the professional bill, kinda like a 3 piece suit for your head..haha. This has some great ventilation; the open for when you're pullin fences and doing control work. Closed for when you're tearin up those fresh tracks (while we all wait for the lifts to open)when its dumping out; and when you doing the spring skiing thing you can pull all the padding out and rock it like a skate helmet. Overall I would say if you have to rock a helmet next season, like the wily temptress that is winter, this baby will keep you satisfied.
