I need pants that have a loose enough thigh fit for biking and lots of pocket room on the sides - like big enough to hold a GPS - not towards the front so I can have free leg movement and one handed but secure access while on the bike. Loose enough in the crotch area so they don't end up binding.

I wouldn't use these for biking if you have any hip at all, they're pretty tight through that area.

These should work for casual or moderate use on the bike.... But I would use cycling pants for more serious riding or racing....
