I got one of these years and years ago. I wore it until it fell apart, then I had it repaired and continued to wear it. Unfortunately I I left it on an airplane and couldn't get it back.

I am one of those people who are always cold despite the temperature and I loved how I could wear it outside in the spring and fall (and often dead of winter) and still swear it around inside if the ac was cranked too high. It wasn't too bulky, it was long enough for my somewhat freakishly long limbs and torso. It wasn't too tight like my old Patagonia fleece and it didn't fall apart like my old Columbia. When it got REALLY cold I used it as a shell. I liked how unnoticeable it was in black.

Now I need a new fleece and as I get mistaken for a middle schooler enough as it is I'd like something different. Anyone have a suggestion?

Try the Windwall 2 or the Flux powerstretch from The North Face, they're awesome pieces and won't make you look like you're giving college campus tours. In another brand, you may like the Arc'teryx Hercules.
