Babak Sakaki. Missed the clinic eh?! So, differences between last years and this years: Basically, a new fabric package of superlight fabrics reduced the overall weight of the tent by 10oz. in the two person and 11oz. in the three person. Also, new superlight buckles, clips, and webbing contributed to this as well. We actually had to design the buckles as they weren't available in the size we needed for this tent! One more thing, the Skyledge utilizes Atlas UL (Ultra Light) poles which has a cold forged floating connector between each segment that weighs 45% less than traditional inserts and are 13% stronger. These connectors were present on last years tent however. Hope this info helps! See you next time I am around the office!
