Battery dead-- where can I get it replaced? Will it affect water resistance?

Hey JDeweese, The battery is replaceable but what is most important, is that the o-ring is still in good shape. It should fit snuggly on the battery cover, if its loose at all, can still fit in the battery compartment and it looks right, it won't create a perfect seal. Also, make sure teh battery compartment is clean of any debris. Most importantly, and most common mistake, do not replace the o-ring with a non Suunto o-ring. This is the most common cause for water leak issues. A new battery kit (comes with an o-ring) is always more cost effective than a new wristop ;)
