I too am considering this ski for an AT setup. Posted this question on the other version(2009 vs 2010???) long ago, but no answer yet. So, here it is on this listing. Anyone using it for an AT setup? It would be for more backcountry than sidecountry. I have the Titan boots and am an athletic 6ft 2in, ~180 lbs. I’ve tried the 186 cm in an alpine setup and loved it in the deep crud but couldn't get them to hold as well on a pure crust day in alpine boots. The 178 did better but then chattered. I'm thinking the 178 might be too short for the real deep days in AT but it might be tough to drive the 186cm with the Titan Boots. Any experiences? I am particularly interested in the boat-hull version applicability.
