I'm 6'3" 195lbs, do I need a large or x-large in this brand? I don't intend to do heavy layering, maybe just occasional fleece underneath. thx Mark

sorry but i disagree with deskdriver... i own this jacket in a medium and in march i weighed 198lbs (i have recently lost 20lbs) but i'm 6'3" and i wore this jacket with 2 layers and it was fine, a lil snug in medium, so a LARGE would be perfect for a comfy fit. but then again i prefer a more athletic cut. that's why i buy norrona in the first place. sorry it's late to answer you on this, but hopefully it might help others looking through

Mark, with your build I would probably recommend an XL. The Norrona fit is very close to Arcteryx with the alpine/athletic cut, however the arm lenghths tend to be a bit longer. I would for sure size up if you are looking to layer under this jacket just to make sure.
