Using Woolite detergent to hand wash or machine wash would probably be your best bet. It's a very gentle soap.

Straight from the source: "Our hammocks are machine washable. We suggest you use a mild detergent and just hang it up to dry. You can machine wash it. They do recommend using a mild detergent and that you just hang it up to dry. I always wash mine on delicate to by safe though too.
