Is it available without the permethrin treatment?
I'm considering using it for an experiment where I don't want the insects affected by insecticides.

Yup we have both of them. If you pull down the drop down menu above you will see the option to have it w the "insect shield" as well as without (If you want the absolute confirmation on the treatment process (initial fabric treatment) of the that option I would call Sea to Summit directly, they will have the all those specs)So feel free to carry out your experiment and you can at least keep this variable constant.
