I'm looking for a new Jacket for skiing but I also want to be able to wear it around home during the winter. I live in Minnesota and regularly have -30 days. Will this jacket hold up in that or should I be looking for something else

The 700 fill insulation on this will definitely help on those REALLY cold days. As far as getting the all in one option this is probably your best bet, or something along the same lines. The only other real suggestion I can give you is to get a shell (Gore-Tex or something along those lines) and an 800 Fill down jacket. But for the price this is your best option.
