For your situation, you're looking at a 2nd set of gloves. They would be perfect for a warm weather a warm weather high aerobic ascent or a glove to wear at the summit when melting water, making food, setting up shop etc... Just a good glove for mountianeering when you feel a bigger glove is too much.
