I am debating between the Kelty TC 3.0 and the Kelty FC 3.0. Anyone have experience with how they compare? Will the TC be comfortable for hiking or is it only good for around town? Has anyone used the FC for air travel and taken it on the plane - does it fit in the overhead compartment or do you have to gate check it? Thanks!

If you plan on using it more for hiking, I'd recommend the FC 3.0. It carries a bit better for long distance and uneven terrain. For travel and around town, the TC 3.0 is better. The TC has a little more storage and fits into the overhead compartment better than the FC. You may have to gate check the FC depending on the airline.
