hi i am 12 . i weight 58kg and am about 5.5. is a pair of 161 a good idea or will it break my knees like salomon 3v do(peeps my age)

I'd say the 161 would be right, not sure what you're refering to with the 3v's but those are race skis. With your height and weight, 161 would be a solid choice
