Gabe, You are correct!; bowel movement! So this garment would not be ideal for backcountry backpacking, mountaineering, etc.

hahaha!! wow. so by bowl movement, i assume you meant bowel movement. you have to take it off/pull it down to the knees, otherwise you're gonna be really stinky and messy.
