Hey, This jacket is made with Marmot's "M3 Softshell" fabric. It's not windproof, and they don't assign any numbers to indicate the degree of wind-resistance...ness. It'll be good for doing anything aerobic where you're generating your own body heat. For standing around on a blustery day you'll likely want something warmer and/or wind-proof...ier.
