hi - I'm looking for a ski boot that is comfortable and provides good performance. My feet and calves are on the wider side so I think Langes would be too narrow.

Go to a shop and try some boots on. A good bootfitter will be able to recommend the proper boot by looking at and measuring your feet and will ask you questions to determine if it is the proper fit. Technicas tend to be wider in the toe area. I can't wear them because I have narrow feet and I move around in them. Salomon has both wide and narrow boots. I love my Salomons poisons but there are many Salomons I can't wear because they are too wide. The Technica M10 (and maybe other Technica boots in the M-series) have an adjustable spoiler so you can adjust it for a narrow calf or a wide calf. You can also take the spoiler out to accommodate for more room if the boot has a spoiler.
