I'm curious to know if this little gem can be worn in the water as in surfing with it on a helmet or hang it around your neck, but wouldn't want to get shocked from the battery. Or if you wipe out and go under the water would that be a problem? Thanks

Richard, You needed worry about being shocked by the battery, the voltage is way too low. However the circuitry would likely be damaged from water intrusion. This quote is taken from the manufacturer's website: "Armored Body A water-resistant HD helmet cam for all seasons, its anodized aluminum body withstands dust, dirt, mud, and snow. It’s also shock, vibration and impact resistant." Water-resistant is a fancy way of saying 'dont submerge it.' I hope this helps!
