Black Diamond Iris Speed Adjust Harness - Women's
I need a harness for ski mountaineering--gotta wear it all day...

I need a harness for ski mountaineering--gotta wear it all day on the glacier which means, I'm gonna have to pee at some point. Can I keep the harness on while I drop my shorts?
Also, concerned re sizing--with layers etc I'm pushing the L size rating--yikes! Any suggestions?

Yes you can keep it on and drop trou. This harness is pretty adjustable so make sure you get the right waist size and you should be able to adjust to sizing for legs and waist. I have the same size harness for rock climbing and ice climbing with layers on and everything is good. Hope this helps!!! I might suggest something else (price and comfort). Camp USA Alp 95 - cheaper and lighter weight (not sure if bathroom with harness is possible) BD Alpine BOD harness - cheaper and lighter weight/simpler (bathroom with it on is a go)
