Would the small @ 67L be big enough for a Garcia canister and 3-5 nights in the High Sierra?
I have fairly light weight stuff, but I like to use a 1 or 2 person tent on solo outings which takes up space and a 70-200mm zoom lens for my dslr. I am torn between this size and the women's small on the Ariel 75 @ 72 L.

Ariel 75 was the winner. Just enough space--including the camera gear --for my long weekend trips. The 67 might work with a smaller cooking system or tent than I have though; strapping the canister to the outside would also work but I decided against that because of steep scrambling situations I find myself in 50% of the time! Good luck longhiker.
