Spencer, When you compare the 2 bags on http://www.metoliusclimbing.com/ you will see that the major difference between the Ropemaster and the Rope Ranger is that the Ranger has 2 shoulder straps and has 2 more liters of carry space, otherwise everything is essentially the same. I hope this helps.
