I'm debating the Atmos 50 (Osprey) and the Z 55. Which is more comfy carrying about 35 lbs? I love to Airscape ventilation on the Atmos, and I'm having a hard time getting past that. The gregory looks nice too, though. Help me out...what would you recommend?

I've used both and I found I hated the Airscape suspension on the Osprey in comparison to this. They are both nice packs, but I think the Gregory has better suspension.

I can not speak for the Atmos 50 because I have not used that pack, but I can speak highly of the Z55. I've owned for roughly a month and I've used for an overnight, a weekend and 4 night trip. 35 lbs is no problem for the Z55. You could even squeeze 40 out of it, but the pack doesn't perform as well after the 35 lb mark. Overall, the Z55 seems to swallow tons of gear. I was even able to fit my bulky, synthetic sleeping bag into the bottom of the pack. The pack really hugs your body and left me with no sore spots after walking 9 to 10 hours. Maybe go to an outdoors store and try them both on to see which one you like best.
