i have a camelbak pack back made for winter. it still freezes in really cold conditions. my buddy suggested the obvoius... blow the water in the tube back to the reservoir. that worked! why didn;t i think of that???

I used a different camelbak on a winter hike and the tube completely frozen... I agree that you have to find a good way to insulate the tube because otherwise you will be carrying dead weight and be thirsty

My little brother uses it for skiing. Just insulate the tube.
