When the durability of any product becomes an issue, I always consider the materials being used. These uppers are full-grain leather which is about as durable as you can get in footware. The stitching is exposed especially along the sides so try to avoid side scrapes. The toe box stitching sets back from the rand & is not as much an issue. The proprietary lug is great for traction & half shank provides good support. The main drawback to me is the breathability aspect. The reason that makes them so durable is the same reason that makes them a bit more funky than other shoes on the market. They will definitely give you a good season or two of hard use.
